Are all your fabrics handcrafted? What techniques do you use?
Yes! Every Ginger Sparrow fabric is made by hand using techniques such as:
- Hand block printing – Each pattern is carved into wooden blocks and hand-printed using natural dyes.
- Hand weaving – Fabrics are woven on traditional wooden looms, ensuring rich texture and durability.
- Hand sewing – All our pillows, drapery, bed and table linens and sewn by hand.
Do you work directly with interior designers or trade professionals?

What is the lead time for orders?
Most in-stock fabrics ship within 3-5 business days. For out-of-stock items, the typical lead time is 4-8 weeks. Custom orders and special productions also require 6-8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design.

How do I place an order?
We sell exclusively to the trade. If you're a trade professional interested in joining our trade program, you can sign up here for exclusive pricing and services. Once you are approved, you will get access to our exclusive prices and be able to shop on our website.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide! Shipping Lead time is approximately 5-8 business days.
What are your shipping rates?
International shipping costs are calculated based on order volume, weight and destination. Feel free to contact us with your order details and shipping location, and we’ll provide a customized quote.
Can I expedite my order?
Yes! We offer express shipping options at checkout. If you need a rush order, contact us for assistance.
Do you have order minimums?
We have no order minimums; however, our fabrics are produced and shipped in 5-yard increments. For orders that do not align with this increment, a $60 cutting fee per SKU will apply.
Product Details & Care
How do I care for your fabrics?
We recommend dry cleaning or gentle handwashing with a mild detergent. As our fabrics are handcrafted from delicate natural yarns, machine washing may compromise their integrity.
For upholstery, we suggest spot cleaning as needed, while drapery fabrics can be steamed occasionally to maintain their beauty and longevity.
Are your fabrics suitable for upholstery, drapery, or outdoor use?
Our fabrics are best suited for drapery, pillows, table linens and light upholstery.
Are fabric colors accurate online? Can I request a swatch?
Do you offer fire retardant or performance finishes?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer fire retardant or performance finishes at this time!
Do you recommend lining your fabrics for pillows and drapery?
Yes, we recommend lining our pillow and drapery fabrics for extra durability and a polished look.

What’s the process for placing a custom order?
- Contact us with your design concept or inspiration reflecting your vision.
- Based on your vision, we sketch a set of original designs and provide fabric, color options tailored to your aesthetic.
- We review the designs together and refine them based on your feedback.
- Once finalized, we handcraft wooden printing blocks and weaving drafts to create your first set of samples.
- You review the samples and select the ones you'd like to move forward with.
- Upon approval, we begin full production, with a lead time of 4-8 weeks.

Returns & Exchanges
What is your return/exchange policy?
All our fabrics are made to order, and we do not accept returns/exchanges on our fabrics. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, we will offer a return or exchange. Please contact us within 48 hours so we can assist you.

Sales tax is applied to orders shipped within Georgia. However, tax exemption is available if you provide a valid resale certificate for your business.
